Atos co-founds GAIA-X to build a secure and transparent European data and cloud framework

Atos, a world-wide chief in electronic transformation, is happy to announce its function as a founding member of the GAIA-X Basis, a non-gain business that is currently being setup to produce the up coming generation of knowledge platforms for Europe, its member states, companies and citizens.

The GAIA-X Basis, shaped by 22 businesses (electronic leaders, industrials, academia and associations) like Atos, underlines a joint determination to a transparent European course of action, openness and broad participation. It will develop on the existing work initiated by the French and German governments and supported by more than three hundred businesses. The GAIA-X task enters a new phase of its improvement and sets an vital milestone toward the European Union’s ambition to consolidate its management in the world-wide knowledge financial system.

The development of electronic ecosystems calls for setting up trust and interoperability across all cloud users and suppliers.
