Kelly Ripa recently teased her plans to exit daytime talk TV, after nearly two decades of co-hosting Live!

But the six-time Emmy winner is currently keeping busy, after recently returning to the studio last month.

She opted for a ’90s business casual look Sunday in a black blazer and cuffed skinny JEN7 by 7 For All Mankind jeans, as she cut through Central Park, during an outing in New York City.

The 50-year-old wore the androgynous chic coat open, over a distressed white LULUSIMONSTUDIO t-shirt, which was loosely tucked into her jeans.

She finished the ensemble with some round tortoiseshell Ray-Ban sunglasses, diamond earrings, gold necklaces, matching rings and a pair of white sneakers.

Ripa carried a backpack over one shoulder, while she took precautions against COVID-19 in a black face mask.  

She recently revealed her potential plans to leave Live! with Kelly and Ryan, after joining the show in 2001, originally co-hosting with the late Regis Philbin.

The All My Children alum told Parade last week: ‘I’ve been writing a lot. So my goal ultimately would be to eventually get off camera and start working behind the camera more in that creative aspect because I really do enjoy the writing process so much.’

She admitted that co-host Ryan Seacrest, 45, is one of the reasons she hasn’t bowed out of the talk show just yet.

Ripa said: ‘I talk about this with Ryan all the time because I was really looking to retire like by now, but Ryan Seacrest is so fabulous to work with and he is such a good friend. We’ve been friends for two decades, and I’ve got to tell you he is really such a draw to me there.’

She added: ‘I just love working with him so much. He makes every day feel like I’m not working and that’s when you know you have a great working relationship.’

The Hope & Faith star previously discussed what it was like returning to the studio last month, after filming remotely during the COVID-19 lockdown.

She told Insider: ‘It’s a little bit surreal because it’s Ryan and me, and we sit at two separate desks now. It looks like we’re very close to each other, but we’re actually quite far apart. Neither one of us can really hear each other well.’

Ripa celebrated her 50th birthday earlier this month, and she appears to be in the best health of her life, regardless of the pandemic.

She told People ahead of her birthday: ‘There are so many people that count on me. Not just my work friends and my children, but my parents, my in-laws and there are people that rely on me for certain things. 

‘And so I just like to stay as healthy as possible. And that has been really the benefit for me of knowing that I am fortified internally.’

The American Housewife actress married Mark Consuelos, 49, back in 1996, and they share sons Michael, 23, Joaquin, 17, and daughter Lola, 19.
