Ryanair has introduced its very first “buy a single, get a single free of charge” sale in a bid to enhance flagging passenger quantities.
Prospects who book a flight before midnight on Thursday for journey up to December 14 on one,600 routes will get a second ticket at no excess value.
The move follows the airline’s selection to further reduce operations owing to coronavirus journey limits.
Its capacity in Oct will be 40pc of 2019 ranges, when compared with the 50pc it previously declared.
Ryanair chief government Michael O’Leary explained demand for potential bookings was awful.
“Into November and December our forward bookings are jogging at all around 10pc – that’s about a quarter of exactly where they would usually be at this time of the 12 months,” he explained to Sky Information.
“We can not rule out task losses but in Ryanair we’re certainly desperately operating with our individuals to reduce them.”
