Rubber Board to start procurement from today

To mitigate the distress problem currently being faced by tiny growers, the Rubber Board has determined to enter the industry for procurement.

It has formulated an action plan to procure the commodity through Rubber Board-promoted businesses. The procurement will commence from Saturday (April 25). The plan envisages advancing a unique amount of money to growers dependent on the grade and the harmony would be paid out at the time the industry stabilises. The Board will procure up to 100 kg from a tiny grower, claimed a push launch.
